CATEGORY / ACCOUNT
Account & subscriptions
Your account stores order and subscription status. No email address is required to create an account; get the client and subscription entry from the user panel.
Do I need an email address to create a VPNJB account?
No email address is required; a username and password are enough. Choose a username that is easy to recognize but not shared with other important accounts, and keep your password secure. After creating an account, open the user panel to choose a plan, view subscription details and get the client. If you forget your account details, submit a ticket through the user panel with information that can help verify the order.
Where can I find my subscription link after purchasing a plan?
After signing in to the user panel, open the account overview or client download area to view your active subscription and its import options. Marketing pages do not publish real subscription addresses or direct links to static installers. Copy or import the subscription from the user panel, and avoid sharing it with others because devices holding that content may use traffic from the same account.
How do I update my subscription link?
If the route list has not refreshed, plan details remain unchanged after a switch, or some routes are temporarily missing, find the current subscription in the client and update it. Before updating, confirm that its source is still the current entry in the user panel; do not re-enter an address from an unknown source. If the client reports an update failure, copy and import the subscription again, then check that the system time and network connection are working correctly.
Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?
No. VPNJB supports unlimited devices, and the same active subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. When switching devices, get the appropriate client and subscription from the user panel and import them again. Multiple devices share the plan's traffic, so when investigating unusual usage, also check devices where the subscription was imported but is not currently in use.
CATEGORY / CONNECTION
Connections & troubleshooting
First distinguish subscription, permission and local-network issues. Keep the error text and route name; they help support identify the faulty stage faster.
Why can’t I connect even after importing the subscription?
First confirm that the plan is still active and has available traffic. Then update the subscription in the client and try another route. Check that the device time is accurate, the system has granted network-extension or connection permission, and other network tools are not using the same settings. If you still cannot connect, keep the error text shown by the client and the selected route name, then submit a ticket through the user panel.
Why isn’t a particular app using the proxy?
A common reason is that the client is in rule mode and the app’s requests do not match a rule that requires proxying. Switch temporarily to a global proxy mode for testing and check whether the app can access the service normally. If the client supports per-app proxying, also check whether the app has been excluded. After changing the setting, fully close and reopen the app so an old connection does not continue using the previous network path.
What should I do if the connection drops after switching Wi-Fi or another network?
When the underlying network changes, the existing session may no longer work. Disconnect in the client, confirm that the new network can open ordinary webpages, then reconnect to the selected route. If the status stays at handshaking or connecting, try another route and update the subscription again. On devices that switch networks frequently, check power-saving settings so the client is not suspended in the background.
How do I recover after system permission is denied?
Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux present network connection permissions differently. Open system settings, find the VPN, network extension or app-permission section, and confirm that the current client is allowed to establish a connection. If permission was explicitly denied earlier, quit the client and start the authorization process again. Once complete, return to the client and reconnect; there is no need to repeatedly import the subscription.
CATEGORY / ROUTE
Speed & routes
Speed depends on the complete path. The local network, entry point, relay, exit and target service can all change the experience, so compare routes one by one.
How should I handle slow or unstable access during peak evening hours?
Peak-hour congestion can occur on the local network, entry route, relay path or target service. Pause bandwidth-heavy syncing and downloads, then compare other routes in the same region. If the target service does not require a fixed region, try a nearby region instead. Do not judge speed by the route name alone; the actual path changes with the current network environment.
How should I choose a region and route?
For everyday browsing and work, start with a geographically closer region that offers a stable connection. For services with region-specific content, choose an exit region that matches the target content. VPNJB covers 100+ countries / 190+ routes, with multiple routes available within the same region. When comparing routes, consider connection stability, page response time and sustained transfer performance.
What is the difference between IEPL, relay and direct routes?
A direct route uses a relatively straightforward public-network path between the device and the exit. The path is simpler, but performance is more affected by local carrier networks and public-internet congestion. A relay route first connects to an intermediate node before reaching the target exit, making it easier to adjust the cross-border path. IEPL focuses on how the entry and cross-border segments are organized. Choose based on your location, current network and tests with the target service.
Why does the same route perform differently on different devices?
The same route name does not mean the conditions on each device are identical. Wireless quality, system power management, client mode, protocol support, background tasks and the target app’s cache can all affect results. For testing, connect both devices to the same local network, stop extra downloads and syncing, and compare them after updating the same subscription. If the difference remains clear, record the operating system and client status before submitting a ticket.
CATEGORY / BILLING
Billing & refunds
Monthly plans and traffic packages follow different traffic rules. Before paying, verify the plan type, traffic allowance and order details. Submit refund requests through a user-panel ticket.
What are VPNJB’s monthly plan prices and traffic allowances?
Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Choose based on your actual use for browsing, work, streaming and file transfers rather than a single task. Traffic for all monthly plans resets each month on the activation date. Current prices and available plans are shown in the user panel and plans page.
When does monthly plan traffic reset, and what happens if I upgrade mid-cycle?
Monthly plan traffic resets each month on the activation date, not on the first day of the calendar month. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days. Before upgrading, check the current plan, remaining traffic and displayed changes in the user panel, then confirm your choice. If the plan status and order record do not match, do not repeat the action; submit a ticket through the user panel for verification.
Do traffic packages expire, and which options are available?
Traffic packages remain available until used and never expire. Options are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Unlike monthly plans, which reset on the activation date, they suit users with irregular usage who prefer to consume traffic as needed. Before purchasing, confirm whether you are choosing a traffic package or monthly plan, then check the order and traffic status in the user panel.
Which payment methods are supported, and how do I request a refund?
VPNJB supports Alipay / WeChat / USDT and offers 7-day refunds. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with the relevant order and refund request. Avoid duplicate payments or submissions. Before applying, also check the order status, plan type and payment record; eligibility and processing are subject to the refund policy and order verification.
